Lakota Retrievers has the philosophy of " Less is More ". "Less", at Lakota Retrievers means we take in a limited amount of dogs in for training.  With a limited number of dogs we are able to give them the individual time they deserve not only in the training field, but around the house. Having the dogs in the house as part of the family gives us the chance to build a stronger bond as well as monitor overall health and condition more consistently.  "More", because of the limited amount of dogs we take in for training we are able to spend more time in the field with each dog giving them the training they need to continue on the track of more titles and achievements.

April 28, 2008 NEW UKC Hunting Retriever Champion Title : "Lucy" HRCH Struan's Devil's In De Tails SH, WCI earned her HRCH title this past weekend with two passes at the WISILL UKC hunt test in Kenosha, WI.

April 13, 2008 I would like to announce that Ember earned a few USDAA agility titles this weekend.  She was/ is trained and handled by Tammie Stone.  The two of them make a great team and they are a lot of fun to watch.  Ember was entered in 5 events this past weekend and "Q'd" in all of them.  Ember earned her, Performance I Jumpers "PJ1" and Performance I Standard "PS1".  She is now BPISS AKC/ NSDTRC CH Vermilion's All Fired Up WC PJ1, PK1, PS1.
