Lakota Retrievers has the philosophy of "
Less is More." "Less" at Lakota
Retrievers means we take a limited amount of
dogs in for training. With a limited number of
dogs, we are able to give them the individual
time they deserve not only in the training
field, but around the house. Having the dogs in
the house as part of the family gives us the
chance to build a stronger bond as well as
monitor overall health and condition
more consistently. "More"
means that because we take in a limited amount of dogs for
training, we are able to spend more time in the
field with each dog. This individual
attention provides them with the training
they need to continue on the track of more
titles and achievements.

Dec 20 2011-"TE Litter" - Ember / Shiner.
This litter of Nova
Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers is about
5 weeks old.
Oct 15, 2011-South Dakota Opening Weekend,
Pheasant Hunt - Wounded Warrior in
Action.
Lakota Retrievers and
Sporting Dog Adventrues got the honor of
taking some veterns out on their first
Pheasant Hunt. All the veterns
received purple hearts for being wounded
in action. This is a great cause
of you are a vetern or an just want to
learn more about this project please go

Oct 17, 2011-South Dakota Opening Week,
Pheasant Hunt
Lakota Retrievers and
11 client and friends spend four days in
Pierre, South Dakota at Cheyenne Ridge
Lodge. A great time was had by
all, a few new friends were made.
Both humans and dogs were tired after
this hunting trip. Next years trip
is already in the works. Enjoy the
pictures.
